If you’ve ever watched any beauty tutorials on YouTube then you have likely heard of Zoeva makeup brushes. And after longing for them for many years, I’ve finally gotten my first set!
I’ve said before, you can never have too many eye shadow brushes, and for that reason I chose to purchase the En Taupe eye set.
227 Luxe Soft Definer: Softly blend and smooth eyeshadow
228 Luxe Crease: Blending and shading eyeshadow in the crease
230 Luxe Pencil: Precise shading and smoothing edges
238 Luxe Precise Shader: Apply eyeshadow precisely
317 Wing Liner: Detailed eyeliner strokes and a perfect wing
322 Brow Line: Eyebrow brush for powder and cream products
The beautiful collection comes with the six eye makeup brushes listed above in a simple, yet chic taupe makeup bag. Though I’ve not had them long, I already have great first impressions of these brushes. Appearance wise, the beautiful dark matte handle looks quite elegant contrasted against the lighter metallic. I feel that the coloring gives the brushes a sleek, sophisticated look. Performance wise, I’ve only used the brushes #227, #228, and #322 so far, but I love the results I’ve had. The brow brush has proven to be simple and easy to use to fill in my brows, and the other two have done exceptional at blending out eyeshadow. I will admit, with #227 and #228 I was expecting the bristles to be a bit softer, but that aside, I would go as far as saying that they are truly the best blending brushes I currently own for eyeshadow. They help create a smooth, flawless transition better than any other blending brush I’ve tried so I’m very excited to continue using them.
What I love most about these brushes is that although they’re high end, I think they can be relatively affordable. Compared to Sigma, or even Sephora brand brushes, the Zoeva brush sets are much cheaper when you consider the quality and number of brushes you’re getting. Of course, you do have to pay for shipping, but even when I included the shipping price into the equation, the price per brush is still cheaper than other brands.
If you’re looking for a new brand of makeup brushes to try, then I would look no further than Zoeva! They look gorgeous and from my first impressions they deliver high quality results. This En Taupe set is an especially great starter eye kit because it includes brushes for shadow, liner, and brows making it an all-in-one set for nearly every eye makeup need. And if you have the basics and are looking for a little extra, they have plenty of other great brush sets both for face and eyes for you to try here. I know I will definitely be purchasing from them again after loving this set so much!
