The sun keeps shining and the temperature is rising which means Autumn seems to be put on hold here in L.A. So I’m taking advantage of the extended summer to mix and match some of my favorite warm-weather pieces. I love pairing simple neutrals like black and gray because I think they have a very effortlessly chic feel. And with my recent fringe obsession I couldn’t resist adding this beautiful kimono to tie the look together (secret- it’s actually a swim cover!). The light weight material makes it a perfect layering accessory for those hot days when you want a little extra to your outfit but still want to be cool.

Quinn and I started our day by enjoying some sunshine at the Exposition Park Rose Garden then went exploring at the California Science Center. One of my favorite things about the USC campus is how close it is to so many unique places like these. An afternoon adventure is always just a short walk away. If you’re ever in L.A. it’s definitely worth a visit!

Cute outfit, nice way to extend your summer wardrobe. Would have likened more pictures of the garden & science center.
