Happy Birthday Disneyland!

Happy Birthday Disneyland!

Today is a very special day as it marks Disneyland California’s 60th birthday! Upon finding this out today, I realized I never posted the photos from the first time I went to Disneyland (which was back in April). So to honor The Happiest Place on Earth on their big day, I’m pulling out all those photos from my first trip to share with you all :). Enjoy!

Though these are just a few of the many photos from the two days we spent at Disneyland and California Adventure, I think even if I posted a thousand photos it wouldn’t describe how magical it was reliving my childhood in Disney. It was an amazing experience for my first time from the rides to the shows to the food and everything in between. Everything was exactly as I hoped it would be! My favorite part was getting to visit Animation studios, where giant screens covered a large round room and played famous clips from all the Disney classics, progressing from the original sketches all the way to the final animations that we know and love today. It was in that room that I felt most like a kid and inspired to truly fulfill all of my childhood dreams. I know it sounds corny, but there’s just something about getting in touch with your inner child that makes you realize all of your forgotten aspirations and have a renewed sense of hope for all that your future holds. Or at least that’s how I felt, dancing along carelessly to Now I See the Light from Tangled surrounding by lanterns on all sides of me. They were certainly right in calling it The Happiest Place on Earth. I think it makes even the most grown-up adults resort back to being a kid again :). I can’t wait to go back again!
