Prom

Prom

I believe I mentioned this in one of my previous blog posts, but for those that don’t know, my boyfriend of two years is in fact a year younger than I am, and two grades behind due to the annoying birthday cut-off date they use. Which means that this past week was his senior prom and I had the opportunity of reliving my high school days and attending one final dance. Now most people after going to college would think me weird for going back to a high school dance, however, since I’m not particularly fond of most college parties (because I don’t drink and after recent life events I prefer not to be around people drinking either), I actually miss the simplicity of high school dances and found the whole experience very nostalgic and enjoyable :).

I chose to channel my inner Cinderella for the night, hence the baby blue princess ball gown, and although you can’t see it well in the pictures, I even had a tiny shoe necklace to tie in with the theme. And without further ado, here are some of my favorite pictures from that night!

Now if you’re wondering who all these people are in this last photo, they would be part of a wedding party that photobombed us.

All in all, between the pictures and the dancing it was a very spontaneous, silly, enjoyably wonderful night :).

Nice pictures – there is nothing like an evening of dancing to lift your spirits and energize you not to mention to make you feel like a princess. I had many a delightful evening of dancing in my younger days.
