March Ipsy Bag

March Ipsy Bag

After revealing that this month’s theme was Floral Fantasy I was especially excited to get my Ipsy bag in the mail this week. The bag is definitely perfect for spring time; I love the bright colored floral print on the bag almost as much as I love the things that came in it.

Included in this month’s box:

Lee Anni Eco 3 in 1 Revolution Light: This is probably the product I was least enthusiastic about receiving. It’s a serum, toner, and moisturizer all in one but there are a lot of mixed reviews about it. Some say it made their skin feel really nice after using it, others have said it didn’t really do anything for them. I personally haven’t tried it yet since some I’ve heard it caused some people to break out so I’m a little nervous about taking that risk. Let me know in the comments what you thought about it if you tried it and if I should give it a shot!

Crown Infinity Shadow/Crease Duet Brush: This isn’t the softest brush I’ve ever used but it’s still soft enough to work comfortably and doesn’t shed hairs so overall the quality is pretty decent. The downside to it being duel ended is that I can’t stand it up on my vanity with the rest of my brushes because it would have to rest on one of the brush ends and I don’t want to ruin the bristles that way. But other than that it’s a nice brush.

Pixi Mesmerizing Mineral Duo: I loved the colors that these eyeshadows came in! They both are very warm, peachy colors that would make really good spring neutrals. They are shimmery but still pack a lot of color which I enjoy. Plus the tiny size would make them really easy to carry with you for travel or even touchups throughout the day.

NYX Butter Lipstick: There were three possible colors that you could get in this month’s bag, and I received mine in the color Little Susie, which I was really excited about because it was a bright poppy pink perfect for spring! I haven’t worn it out yet so I can’t say how well it stays on throughout the day but when I swatched it on my hand the color was just as bright as it looks on the package and has a pretty glow to it, so I’m excited to use it.

Pūr~lisse Delicate Gentle Soymilk Cleanser: I started using this cleanser this week in place of my normal face wash and I’ve actually enjoyed it so far. It’s only been a few days so I can’t say for sure whether it’ll be good for me for the long term but it’s done a great job of making my skin feel fresh and clean without feeling dry. Plus I feel like my skin hasn’t gotten as oily throughout the day on mornings when I used this so I’m hoping that means good things for the future!

So that’s everything I received this month! If you subscribe to Ipsy, what did you think of your monthly bag? Let me know in the comments if you’ve tried and liked any of these products!

I got the same exact bag! I don’t mine the Leannieco moisturizer. Though i have good skin and don’t break out so i’m not sure how it would fare for you in the department. I’m suprised people brokeout with it since it is all natural and uses gentle ingredients. I don’t mind it though. The purlisse is amazing. I love it so much. Also I hate the nyx color on me. bright pinks don’t look great on my skintone but it think it would look awesome on you!

Lucky! I wish I had good skin. And I’ve really been loving the Purlisse myself, I might go order a full size version! And thanks! I love bright pink for spring time personally 🙂
